The Legacy Behind NIAS

The Northwest Institute of Applied Systems traces its intellectual lineage to Floyd Thompson Sr. & Lee-Wesley Smith Sr., whose foundational ethos demanded independent inquiry, rigorous execution, and disciplined innovation. Today, that legacy is carried forward by Fellowship Members exhibiting their Knowledge, Wisdom, and Understanding.
